20-year-old Emma May Beckett has been performing and writing music from a young age. She is very passionate about her songwriting and is well-known around her community for her many local performances. Her debut EP, A Thousand Words was released in February of 2020 and is available on most music streaming platforms.

Emma May Beckett is a 20-year-old musician from Ontario. Ever since starting guitar lessons, Emma has been writing her own original songs. Now 11 years later, she continues to grow as a songwriter and musician every day.
She often performs locally in and around her hometown of Collingwood, giving community-engaged performances at festivals such as Kempenfest and Midalnd's Butter Tart Festival.
Her debut EP, A Thousand Words was released in February of 2020 and is available on most music streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
Emma released a music video to YouTube for her most popular song off the EP, “Why Don’t You Stay?”, which she produced and edited herself.
She engages with her followers and provides daily content through a wide variety of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok. Aside from performing and songwriting, Emma enjoys spending quality time with family and friends as well as camping and playing hockey. She is currently in the Media Production program at Toronto Metropolitan University's RTA School of Media.
